Fall Plumbing Tips
Fall Plumbing Tips
Can you believe it? We are on our way to autumn. As some Portland meteorologists predicts we may be in for some very wet and cold weathers this year. Here are some plumbing tips to get us on our way:
- Remove, Drain and Store Garden Hoses
- We don’t want your hose to expand and break! So when the temperature start to plummet make sure you unhook and drain your hose properly, and store it inside the house.
- Check Your Sewer System
- Believe it or not, the fall, winter and spring months can overwork your sewer system. If you have had any issues in the past or would like to have preventative maintenance completed, give us a call to schedule a sewer line inspection.
- Complete Water Heater Maintenance
- Most water heaters will last anywhere from 8 to 12 years, and we suggest doing an annual water heater maintenance. Water heater flushes tend to increase water efficiency and the lifespan of your water heater. Here at All Pro we do water heater flushes/maintenance, as well as installation and removal, in case you needed a new one.
- Check Outdoor Faucets
- Make sure you check for any cracks and leaks to your outdoor faucets to prevent any major plumbing issues.
