2. Baking Soda Method – You can use a solution of vinegar and baking soda to try and dissolve grime that is causing the clog. Pour hot water down the drain followed by about a half-cup of baking soda. Let this sit for a few minutes. Next, add white vinegar and let the solution sit for a few minutes before rinsing with more hot water.
3. Never Use Chemicals – Unclogging a kitchen sink is very different from unclogging other drains in your home. Avoid using harsh, chemical drain cleaners in a garbage disposal, as the chemicals are highly corrosive and can damage any rubber or plastic parts.

• Plastic or metal utensils
• Grease
• Pasta and rice
• Potato peelings
• Fibrous vegetables like corn husks and celery
