How do you know if you have frozen pipes?

Simple…the first sign would  be seeing frost on the pipes.  Another sign that your pipes may be frozen is having no water or very little water coming out of the faucet.

What to do if your pipe bursts?

If you check and see that the pipes are frozen make sure you deal with it quickly, because you absolutely do not want to have your pipes burst.  You can attempt to thaw the pipes yourself by using a warm towel/water depending on the pipe location or you may choose one of our expert friendly plumbers at All Pro Plumbing.  However, if the pipes do burst then immediately locate the shut off valve to shut the water off to the house and call us at (503) 579-5555, and we will try to assist you immediately.
