With the change in season welcoming the Portland rainy days, sudden downpours can cause major plumbing problems.  One of which are sewer backups.

What are main sewer line backups you may ask?  It is when you notice water and/or sewage backing up from your tub or toilet, or water from your faucets…not a pleasant ordeal.  The causes for these sewer line backups can be caused by broken pipes, tree and shrubbery roots growing into the pipes, or debris that obstructs the pipes (such as toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, or other small objects).
