How to fix a Leaky Faucet

Leaky Faucet leading to many sleepless nights? If so, follow these simply DIY steps to stop the leakage!
1. Make sure the water supply to the faucet is turned off. Then you’ll need to take off the handle by unscrewing the screw, which is usually hidden behind a piece of plastic that can be snapped off by a flat head screw driver.
2. The next step to fix a Leaky Faucet is to remove the packing nut by using an adjustable wrench. Once you do that remove the screw that holds the washer. You may need to use some WD-40 to loosen the screw. Now check to see if the leak is due to a damage screw or stem, if so, replace it.
3. If that isn’t it, the next step to fix a Leaky Faucet is to check the washer. Now, it is utmost important you get the exact washer replacement to replace the old one. If the washer does not fit exactly, than the leak will continue.
4. Lastly, put the new washer on and reassemble your faucet.
