Protect all outside faucets and hose bibs with insulation. As well as indoor pipes in unheated areas such as the basement crawlspace or attics.

When temperatures plummet to below freezing leave your faucets with a slight drip of cold water to help avoid freezing. Also, open cupboard doors in the bathroom and kitchen. By doing so, that will help with heat circulation to the indoor pipes.
